So this is my second attempt at a blog. My first attempt was fun…for a while. I started it as a therapy of sorts – it was easier than writing in a journal (my hand cramps, yo). I wrote about things that pissed me off and tried to inject a little sarcastic humor in it, all the while thinking that no one would ever really read it. To my surprise, I got a few readers! I was in a bad place (literally, I was in Tampa) and all I seemed to do was bitch and moan. Some of it was funny, but mostly, I just got sick of writing about how sick I was of living existing in Tampa. It wasn’t funny anymore.
I also said some things that were politically and socially caustic and it pissed a few readers off. Some of those readers had the audacity to tell me I couldn’t say those things on MY OWN BLOG. They also chose to escalate what was an intelligent debate of ideals into personal attacks (via email of course, they didn’t have the stones to do it in the comments section). Unfortunately, I let them get to me. NEVER. AGAIN.
So I’m going to say this as nice as I can. THIS. IS. MY. BLOG. That means I can, and will, say anything I want. I am sarcastic, sardonic, and politically incorrect. If that’s going to offend you, please leave. If I say something you disagree with, fine – we can debate it intelligently, but only if I want to.
